Don Armstrong Interview on the Ed Tyll Show
As many of you know, I have been working with the Leukemia Lymphoma Society (LLS) to help get the word out about Blood Cancer Awareness Month.
This year more than 150,000 people will be diagnosed with a form of blood cancer, including: leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. But the good news is that because of the research work that LLS does, we are seeing survival rates quickly on the rise.
To date, there are no screenings that let people know that they could be predisposed to blood cancer. So research and early detection is critical to the survival of the 1.5 million people who are currently living with blood cancer in the U.S. today.
In my interview on the ‘Ed Tyll Show’ I share my story from my diagnosis of Acute Myeloid Leukemia to number of marathons run to the release of my new book – ‘Finish Your Race: Empower Your Life with Strategies from a Cancer Survivor’.
