I was proud and humbled to be asked to speak at the North Texas Blood Cancer Conference and Expo this year. This annual event brought over 1,400 people together on topics from emotional healing to the development of cutting edge new drugs that are transforming treatment of all cancers.
Cancer is such a personal battle, yet it is one that has touched the lives of almost everyone we know. We all need a bit of motivation from time to time. We need to know that we are not alone and that together we can find the courage to Finish whatever ‘Race’ life brings our way.
The Leukemia Lymphoma Society has been a significant contributor to the efforts made in finding a cure for blood cancer. The result: more than 1.2 million Americans either living with or in remission from blood cancer today. It’s never too late to make a difference in yourself or in others. There are lots of ways to get involved.
